I frequently need to lookup links to shows I've enjoyed for use in chat/social/etc. I'd love a way to quickly find those links without switching to a browser first.

A number of apps can provide this behaviour via a search query in the URL (some common ones are listed in the title). With the current JS driven search implementation it isn't possible because results are never displayed outside the generated JS. It would require search to be URL based.

I use this pattern with a number of sites already, for example audiobook search on Libro.fm. A custom search allows me to find audiobooks quickly by opening alfred, typing and then my search query. It sends the query to the search URL (shown in the image) which opens in my browser.
